As a Facebook page admin you will understand the costs involved in using paid advertising to promote your page and also the minimal results achieved by self promotion. I am about to share with you a few strategies that you may implement to gain a larger base of page followers and also get more interaction completely for free.
The first point that I would like you to understand is that if someone shares a post from your page, initially a small percentage of the friends of that person will get to see the post. When the friends see the post in their news feed, they will be presented with a “Like Page” button below the post if they do not already like it.
As I mentioned when the post is shared only a small portion of the friends will get to see the post. In order to increase the amount of friends that see the post, you will need to get interaction. Posts that get more interaction will get more exposure. By interaction I mean likes, comments and shares.
Now you understand how Facebook delivers content it is time to create content for your page that will get more interaction. The kind of posts that get most interaction are image posts that require a response. A post asking a question will make people feel inclined to give the answer in the comment section. Especially if the question does not appear to be very easy, such as the answer to a maths puzzle etc.
By creating posts that invite people to comment, you are creating posts that get more interaction and therefor you are creating posts that get more exposure when shared. The next thing to consider is getting people to like and share the post. This is actually a lot easier than you would think. In the image post you should include the text. “Share and Like If You Got The Correct Answer” everyone will think that they got the answer correct and some will share and like.
When a person shares the post it is already proven to get likes comments and shares, so as the persons friends interact with the post you will start to experience a viral effect. The great value to this method as I mentioned is the fact that the post has a “Like Page” button below it for all to see.
I would suggest that you try out different versions of this style of post and update your page two to three times a day with these kind of potentially viral posts. The more success you experience with this method, the better it works every time you use it. That is because as your page audience grows, the post reach grows.
This is a proven method that I have personally used many times, the success rate is about two in ten, trial and error is the key to success.
